HI INTENSITY CIRCUIT TRAINING

An Intense hour of Hi Intensity circuit training! Great for conditioning the body and working on a huge array of physical activities in one intense but fun session! Push yourself to get better every week a great class to help motivate each other and become stronger and fitter!

Tip:

The Key is in the name! Its Hi Intensity! Stay hydrated and control that breathing!

A fast paced, Intense session on our amazing assault course, where you will cover all aspects of physical training!

This will leave you feeling MENTALLY and PHYSICALLY prepared for the week ahead!


Tip:

Go at your own pace... but don't forget to push yourself that little bit more!

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS CLASS WITH WEIGHTS
Every Monday

 

An Intense hour of physical training! There is no better way to start or end your day, this class will push you to your limits while still leaving you smiling... with its fun yet demanding atmosphere this class is great for all ability levels!

Tip:

Plenty of determination and will power is what you need to get the most out of your training!

OCR GRIP STRENGTH, HANGING & TECHNIQUE
Every Tuesday

 

It can be said that “you’re only as strong as your grip” when it comes to taking part in Obstacle Course Racing (OCR), so this class focuses purely on improving grip strength, right from the fingers to the forearms, biceps and back muscles that all combine to support strong grip. The class also teaches important (and fun) hanging and swinging techniques to bring out your inner ninja warrior! 

 

Tip: Remove any large rings from your fingers to help with grip

OUTDOOR ASSAULT COURSE
Every Wednesday

 

Mikes Gym Members Favourite! Using the extensive and ever expanding assault course at Mikes Gym! You will get an amazing full functional body workout! Testing your strength and cardiovascular abilities, once you have managed to get your breath back we know you will be grinning!

Tip:

Start at a manageable pace, make sure you have some energy stored as this one isn't a Hares race!

AMATEUR BOXING CLUB
Every Wednesday and Friday 5pm

 

A great way for the younger ones to learn the art of boxing while getting fit and also learning discipline and to be respectful of each other and their coach!

Tip:

Stay Hydrated and have fun!

OCR OBSTACLE PROFICIENCY 
Every Thursday

 

This class teaches the fundamental physical techniques and mental confidence required to take on obstacles on almost any obstacle course. Working on progressions that take you gradually from saying: “I’ll never be able to do that!” to being able to fly over, under and through obstacles with style saying: “yes! I did it!”. Each class leaves you with the sense of accomplishment that comes with achieving something you never thought possible.

 

Tip: Wear grippy shoes, bring plenty of water and remove any large finger rings
