BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All clients attending Mikes Gym Training Facility should be aware of and accept the risks involved. All clients are advised to seek medical advice from their GP before booking.
Your statutory rights are NOT affected by any of our terms and conditions.
A Contract of activity and service is made between Mikes Gym and the Client by issue of a written confirmation of booking by Mikes Gym.
The Contract is subject to these booking conditions, which the Client has been deemed to have read and fully understood. These booking conditions can only be varied by written agreement between Mikes Gym and the Client.
No verbal representations made by Mikes Gym, shall be relied upon by the Client.
5.1 To place a booking Mikes Gym requires a completed booking form and/or individual information form with deposit fee. Clients booking by telephone or e-mail will have been deemed to have read the booking conditions and to sign the declaration on the ‘individual information form’. A booking is accepted and becomes binding only from the date when Mikes Gym has confirmed acceptance in writing by means of a 'confirmation of booking e-mail’. Mikes Gym reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion. Email and telephone bookings are treated as provisional and are only confirmed once the funds have cleared into the Mikes Gym bank account.
5.2 The balance of the fee is payable at least 2 weeks prior to arrival at the venue unless otherwise agreed with Mikes Gym but prior to commencement of the course. In the event that the balance is not paid Mikes Gym will have the discretion to treat the booking as cancelled unless otherwise informed.
Bookings are NOT transferable under any circumstances unless agreed, in writing; with Mikes Gym.
6.1 Clients shall be held responsible to make compensation for any damage they cause to the contents and furnishings of the premises during their stay, except for wear and tear.
6.2 Mikes Gym accepts no responsibility for the loss, damage or theft of personal possessions, which includes, but is not limited to, clothing passed to third party cleaners, clothing, jewelry or similar items of value, personal equipment or the like. All clients are advised to ensure that they are adequately insured against these events.
7. Cancellations, Refunds & Client Alterations
7.1 Upon booking a camp at Mikes Gym is it necessary to pay a deposit to secure your required date.
7.2 This deposit is non-refundable if the trip is cancelled but will be deducted from your total fee when full payment is made
7.3 For group bookings, at the time of booking it is necessary to state numbers of people you wish to book for, for example the number of people up to 10, half camp of 12 people or a full camp of 24 people.
7.4 10% non-refundable deposit is payable upon reservation.
7.5 2 months before your arrival date 40% additional payment is due and final numbers must be confirmed. If you have booked a half camp and wish to add numbers, if we have availability, we can add this to your booking for you. If you booked a full camp and have lower numbers or wish to decrease to a half camp of 12 this is also possible. This does not affect your deposit in any way. Deposit is only lost if camp is completely cancelled.
We will be holding a reserve waiting list. If places become available clients will be notified in the order listed. Confirmation and payment is due immediately to secure.
8.1Included in the package prices are basic meals of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
If your camp has a specific menu they would like to follow, for example Gluten Free, High Calorie or High Protein, this can be pre-arranged at an additional cost but must be pre-booked in advance.
8.2 Meals are non-refundable. If you decide to skip a meal or go out to eat this will not be refunded to you.
We need to know that we have your full commitment to us as we do to you so we ask that you agree to our terms.
FREQUENTLY ASKED Q&A’s
What if I am a picky eater?
Please let us know 2 weeks before your arrival about any food intolerances and our chef will work around them where possible. We will cater for vegetarians, allergies and religious requirements only but not food dislikes.
Are we provided with Snacks?
This is up to yourselves or your camp leader to provide extra snacks, shakes, juices, tea, coffee and water in-between meals.
Is there Wi-Fi access?
Yes, we have Wi-Fi access around the gym and in rooms. Access codes can be found on the notice board in gym or ask at reception.
Do you provide towels?
Shower towels are provided in cabins only. It is recommended that you bring extra towels for the pool/beach.
Do you have a washing service?
We can provide you with a KIT WASH ONLY service. No jeans, jumpers or tracksuits. You will be given a wash bag to put your kit in on a certain day of the week and we will wash for you and hand it back. You will be responsible for drying on the washing lines available outside your rooms.
What time is departure from cabin?
We ask you to be ready to check out of your cabin at 9.00am for the next turnaround of clients.
Can I book a late check out?
Subject to availability. We will do our best to keep one cabin available for you and your camp to use until 6pm.
Do I need to bring bed linen?
All bedding is provided in your rooms.
How far is the local town and supermarket?
Our local town of La Cala is 4km away. By car it’s 3 or 4 minutes. It takes approx. 30 minutes to walk down or 45 minutes to walk back up.
Can I buy water and protein snacks on site?
Yes, we sell bottled water, soft drinks, energy drinks, tea, coffee, protein bars and protein shakes from reception.
Can I buy extra food?
Yes this can be arranged with our chef if you require extra food prepared. This will be an extra charge.
